New coaching position for Chris

AFC Liverpool have announced the addition of first team player Christopher Anderson to the club's coaching staff.
Chris has been utilised all across the defence in over 30 appearances for the club this season, and will remain a member of the first team playing squad.
Speaking on the club website, Chris said: "With work commitments and with coming to an age where I need to work on my fitness more than most, I haven’t been able to do that of late, so my performances from time to time haven’t been where I would expect them of myself.
"This, along with the combination of not having the time to get my fitness to where it needs to be and with new players coming in to the club I felt that it was the right time to get in to the coaching side.
"I have always had the ambition to get in to coaching and management when I finished playing, so I am grateful that AFC are giving me the opportunity to do that.
"Ambitions for me and for the club are the same at the moment and that is to stay in the Premier Division of the North West Counties and to set a foundation with the players we have at the club at the moment with a view to really kick on next season.
"From a personal perspective I want to gain as much experience as I can and I want to develop as a coach, whilst hopefully adding quality and stability to AFC Liverpool".
Joint Managers Stuart Keir and Ben Williams gave their reaction to the appointment.
“We’re delighted to add Chris’ experience of the North West Counties to the management team, as well as his passion and enthusiasm for the club. It was a no-brainer on our part and another fantastic addition to the management family as Chris takes his first steps into coaching.”
