Charity collection at 1874 Northwich

1874 Northwich are once again holding a charity collection when they host Runcorn Linnets this Saturday.
At the game between the two sides at the St Luke's Barton Stadium last season, the club held a Blue Bandana day in support of goalkeeper Greg Hall.
Greg was raising funds for a little girl named Gracie, who was a pupil at the school he worked at, and was suffering from cancer. Brilliant support from both clubs on the day, plus donations received from other clubs, meant that a phenomenal £855 was raised.
Sadly, Gracie passed away just a few days after the game, but following consultation with Gracie’s parents, 1874 were able to pass that £855 to Manchester based charity Kidscan.
Kidscan raises funds to research childhood cancers, the aim being to give every child with cancer the treatment they need to survive and thrive.
At 1874’s home game against Runcorn Linnets this Saturday, both sets of supporters are asked to once more join together in support of this very worthy cause with a collection being held on the day, proceeds of which will be donated to Kidscan.
Gracie features on the Kidscan website home page which can be viewed by clicking here.
