1874 Northwich FC have announced that Ian Street has decided to step down as Manager of the club.
A club statement said: "We have accepted Ian's decision, and at the same time we would acknowledge the tremendous amount of work that he has put into the club since his appointment in April 2013.
"He has shown so much passion and commitment in ensuring that the club has become a respected member of the Hallmark Security League.
"We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ian and wish him the very best for the future.
"We can also advise that Assistant Manager Paul Bowyer and Coach Wayne Goodison will now assume responsibility as Joint Managers with full support from the Football Club"
Ian Street said: "I had informed the committee a few weeks ago that my plan was to step down at the end of the season, and allow a smooth transition to my replacement.
"After moving house in the summer, the job had become difficult due to the increased travel. I have made the decision to finish earlier than planned, and I now wish to find a new challenge.
"We have come such a long way in a short time. From non-existent to be regarded as one of the strongest clubs in the North West Counties Premier Division is testament to all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes.
"There are some really good people at the club, and I thank them and wish them all the best for the future".
